Officer Rami’s prognosis was grim after he sustained a traumatic brain injury during a mission. Unconscious for weeks, doctors eventually recommended taking him off life support. Before doing so, they allowed his loyal K9 partner, Lari, to say goodbye.
As Lari entered the room, he barked, licked Rami’s hands, and sniffed his face with obvious distress. Then, something incredible happened—Rami’s fingers twitched. Rami reported the memory, and previously lost footage surfaced—confirming his account. Suspiciously, Odell had never visited the hospital, raising more questions.
Cleared of fault and back on duty as a K9 handler, Rami looked at Lari and said, “You knew all along. You woke me up in time to stop a lie.”
